Schedule a Class

Starting next week we're changing the names of some class levels: Level 1 / Level 2 becomes Level 1B. Level 2A stays the same. Level 2 becomes Level 2B. Level 2B becomes Level 3. There also are modest changes to class times. The Fitli schedule on the class booking page is current. The website schedule sometimes is not up to date.

To deal with crowding on Sunday morning, people are allowed to sign up for only one Sunday class until midnight of the night before. as of Dec. 31:

Open with normal schedule on New Year's Day, Jan. 1

as of Dec. 15...

We are open for most classes on the holidays, but check the reservation system and schedule for up-to-date information. We will be open for special classes on Christmas morning, but not for the regular Wednesday schedule on Christmas night.

Until Nov. 18, no new students will be accepted other than beginners. This is because all of the higher-level classes have been converted to rehearsals to prepare for our original tap musical that opens Nov. 9.  

Sept. 2, 2024

Update: 

We have made a place on the schedule for two beginning children's classes: one for ages 6 through 9; the other for ages 9 through 13. We also have a Level 2a class for children. Children's classes will begin after Labor Day. 

Currently we are offering:

1) Simultaneous Zoom and in-studio tap on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. You can make your own reservations, but please read all details below.

2) In-studio classes (not on Zoom) on Monday, Tuesday, Wendesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Make your own reservation online. 

3) Private Lessons: Contact howard.tap@gmail.com

THE CLASS RESERVATION SYSTEM IS FUNCTIONAL, BUT EVEN WITH A RESERVATION, YOU'LL NEED A MEEING ID TO LOG IN TO A ZOOM CLASS.

Howard will send you the Zoom meeting ID once he sees you've made a reservation. You also can contact him (howard.tap@gmail.com) 

For all classes, reservations can be made up to three hours before a class. Cancellations can be processed up to six hours before a class. There are no refunds for in-person, in-studio slots but if you cancel in time you can use your class credit for a later class. 

To make a reservation: Hit the "Make a Class Reservation" button (that's the preferred method) on the homepage, email howard.tap@gmail.com or go to Fitli.com and search for tap dance or Tap Dance with Howard.
